A day at the Lake

These photos are a result of spending a nice spring day at the lake. I was wearing two sweaters. That was at least one too many, possibly two.

So I have booked my flights. The itinerary is as follows... Hong Kong to Bangkok Thailand - Bangkok to Delhi India - Delhi to Amman Jordan - Amman to London England - London to Toronto - Toronto to Calgary. Each stop will last many days. The total trip time will be 101 days. Once I get back, I will have circled to globe completely, been to at least 9 countries and met some of the nicest people ever.

More Film than Time

With less than 40 days left in Linping/Hangzhou, I have been trying to pack as much in as I can. It is starting to take a toll on me. There is so much to do here and I put off doing so much of it so I can really only blame myself.

The week I went to three temples, climbed three mountains, ate lots of corn on the cob by the lake and also had some cotton candy.

This week has also been bad for my coffee consumption. Since most of my week was spent in Hangzhou, I was always near a Starbucks. That meant that I had 15 cups of coffee in the span of 5 days. Yes, that is 3 venti foo foo coffees a day. Ok, so they all were not foo foo lattes, I mixed in some dark roast as well. Not good for the poocket book or the body, but good for the brain.

I shot a good mix of film and digital this week too. I need to shoot more film though so that I can use up all of my developer before I leave. I thought about taking it with me, but I could see that causing issues when I am at the airport. I don't feel like going through the hassle of all the paperwork over about $5 worth of developer.
