This was for an assignment on food. We were able to shoot anything as long as it was done in the studio. Well after using the studio lights and getting rather dismal shots, I turned to old fashion construction paper, tape and two really simple cheap flashes. Let me know what you thing. Give me some feed back. (And if you are lucky, I may even tell you how I shot it)

This was from a punk show on the weekend. The kids here have a really strange thing that they do instead of moshing like I know it. The do violent windmills with their arms, and then after about 4 rotations, they do a kung-fu kick out to the side. They also pace, but it is more like a side-step and then type writer walk back, then do it all again. I just don't get it...

So I went to Toronto to cover the Importfest car show. For anyone who doesn't know, it is Canada's biggest import car show. Below is the highlight of the show for me. This Datsun 510. I have been wanting one of these for a long time. This guy had one all restored and looking great. It was modified to the roof. Roll cage, turbo charged, tubbed, you name it and it was done.

There was live DJ'ing going on, this here is DJ Neptune.
The best part of going for a newspaper is the fact that you can get the models to do stuff for you!

This is Heather from Print Journalism. It was for a studio assignment. I like working in the studio. Fun Times.

These two shots are from a high school rugby tournament that was at the Loyalist fields. Don't know who one, I only had 30 minutes to shoot.

I also shot OHL hockey last night. Hockey is a hard sport to shoot. Especially when the players crowd the net... I'll have some shots soon.

Advisory board is tomorrow. That is where a group of news paper and other pros come to the school to browse the second year photo students for possible internships. I have spent all week getting my portfolio together. I need to get business cards and a desk plate made. But I think I am prepared.
